“When arguing with your neighbor, don’t betray another person’s secret. Others may accuse you of gossip, and you will never regain your good reputation.” Proverbs 25:9‭-‬10 NLT

Conflict is bound to happen. When we get into arguments, it is important to stay in control of out words. Anger and frustration can cause us to say things we might not ordinarily say. We might not mean it, but we can’t take it back.  One of those things that needs to be protected are those private items, or secrets, that we happen to have knowledge of.  Don’t let them out.

There are those known as secret keepers and others known as gossip grabbers. Which are you?

This week, make a commitment to be a secret keeper.

In His Hands,
