“Don’t rejoice when your enemies fall; don’t be happy when they stumble. For the Lord will be displeased with you and will turn his anger away from them.” Proverbs 24:17‭-‬18 NLT

Is it time to check your heart?

Most of us have enemies in one way or another. How is your heart towards them? Are you watching and waiting for them to stumble? Taking pleasure in their misfortune? Or are you doing as Jesus instructed us to do?

Jesus said that we would be known by our love (JN 13:35) and that we are to love and pray for our enemies (LK 6:27-28).

The Lord has a spiritual heart monitor on us, he wants us to have a healthy heart by staying in right relationship with him and others, including our enemies.

This week, keep your heart healthy and pray for your enemies.

In His Hands,

John
