Despite their desires, the lazy will come to ruin, for their hands refuse to work.” Proverbs 21:25 NLT

There is a big difference between desire and action. In between desire and action things like laziness, fear, and doubt dwell.

Desire sounds a lot like: “I should, I ought to, I want to, I will try to, I am thinking about, someday I will.” Without action, these are all thought markers on the road to ruin. Tragically some of us give up before we ever start.

“Our greatest weakness lies in giving up. The most certain way to succeed is to try just one more time.” Thomas Edison

If there is something that you have been putting off, maybe it is time to say; “I will, now.”

The longer you put it off, the less likely you will ever do it.

Some of us decide that we don’t know how we will ever finish so we never start.

“Start by doing what is necessary, then do what is possible, and suddenly you are doing the impossible.” Francis of Assisi

Its time to start.

In His Hands,
