Interfering in someone else’s argument is as foolish as yanking a dog’s ears.” Proverbs 26:17 NLT

Interfering in an argument, yanking a dog’s ears. They both will produce undesirable results.

One is pushing your way in where you don’t belong, the other pulling on something that is only going to bring you pain.

But there you are getting ready to push or pull knowing that:
  • You know you can avoid it.
  • You know you are going to get hurt.
  • You know it isn’t going to be helpful.
  • You know it is going to make things worse.
  • You know there is no real purpose for doing it.
Read through those statements again. Does anything come to mind?

You know better, but…. you get caught up in the moment and do it anyway only to suffer the consequences.

This week before you push or pull, pause and then do the right thing.

In His Hands,

John
