Strength or Wisdom – Work and Faith Matters

“The wise are mightier than the strong, and those with knowledge grow stronger and stronger.” Proverbs 24:5 NLT

If wisdom and knowledge is better than strength, where might the enemy tempt us?

The enemy of our souls would have us to focus on the physical instead of the spiritual.

The temptation has been around for a long time, Paul wrote to young Timothy nearly 2,000 years ago:

“Physical training is good, but training for godliness is much better, promising benefits in this life and in the life to come.” 1 Timothy 4:8 NLT

Physical exercise is good, and maintaining our strength is beneficial, but pursing godliness is even better as it has eternal benefits.

This week make certain that you are developing those spiritual muscles.
