If you walked up to a building and saw two entrances, one marked what you can get and the other marked what you can give:

Which line do think would be longer?

 

Which line would you get in? 

 

Would it change if those doors were at your work, your church or your home?

 

The trap of taking is that it never satisfies. The wealthy John D. Rockefeller who at the peak of his wealth had a worth of 1% of the entire United States economy was once asked; “How much wealth is enough?” To which he responded, “just a little bit more”. 

 

Just a little bit more.  Greed is never satisfied. 

 

The blessings are to be found in giving. 

 

“And I have been a constant example of how you can help those in need by working hard. You should remember the words of the Lord Jesus: ‘It is more blessed to give than to receive.’” Acts 20:35 NLT

 

And remember, you cannot out give God. He will bless you in countless ways as you give.
